Not Just Tourists

New life for an old suitcase

Got an old suitcase taking up space in your closet? Not Just Tourists Toronto will take it off your hands, fill it with much-needed medical supplies and send it to a community in need via someone travelling to that area.

This unique charity gives ordinary tourists a chance to change the lives of locals in the areas they visit on vacation. NJT is also a great place to send any unused medical supplies, but check their website for details on what they will and will not accept.

Not in Toronto? NJT has chapters across Canada as well as in the UK and California. Check their website for details.

Toronto Tool Library

Sharing is caring

The Toronto Tool Library is a great resource, and a fantastic way to reduce the amount of STUFF you own.

With three full locations (Parkdale, East York and Hillcrest) plus an express location downtown, it's a great alternative to owning all those tools you only use once in a blue moon. Plus - a great place to donate your tools if you're downsizing!

While you're at it, check out their sister organization, The Sharing Depot, Canada's 1st "Library of Things"!
